Design Educator
Creative Technologist
Doctoral Candidate
CTE Advocate
I’ve spent over a decade working at the intersection of education, design, and technology—teaching, building, researching, and learning. I’m passionate about helping students find their voice through creative media, and I believe that good design should be both intentional and inclusive.
This site is a living document of my practice—an archive of work, a place to test ideas, and a reflection of how I think as both a maker and a mentor.
Entering the Dissertation Phase
This site represents the culmination of my work leading up to the dissertation phase of the Interprofessional Education Doctorate Program at Kent State University. Since beginning this journey in August 2022, I’ve grown significantly as a scholarly practitioner—deepening my understanding of design education, broadening my perspective, and strengthening my commitment to meaningful, inclusive learning experiences.
Now, as I move into the final phase of this doctorate, I see my profession through new lenses. I’m excited to give back—through research that is reflective, practice-oriented, and rooted in real-world classroom impact.
Current Research Focus
Exploring how AI-powered tools can enhance inclusive, project-based learning in CTE and interactive media classrooms. I’m particularly interested in how platforms like ChatGPT can support differentiated instruction and boost student engagement in creative problem solving.
